Hello American Friends. And friends around the world. I don't mean to be exclusive. 


But given that it is the 4th of July I figured I should talk about things I miss from America. Keep in mind this does not mean that I want to leave my beautiful Ireland and come back. It just seems right to pay my respects to my native country somehow.
List. In no Particular Order

1. My family, not that I really have lived at home in forever, but it is a litter harder having the Atlantic Ocean between us.

2. Going with Megan to the Taco Bus.... I miss both these things separately too. 

3. LONG HOT showers. This should probably be at the top.

4. BYUI theatre department. The people. But also being in a theatre company.

5. Being Human and Spooks on demand on netflix. Right now I can only get Spooks series 1-7 on demand and no being human. Stupid but I bond tightly with fictional characters.

6. A world where I didn't know who Peppa Pig was and I'd never seen Dora the explorer.

7. American Mexican Food. But now I'd just miss Irish Mexican Food.

Happy 4th from Ireland. In Galway they were having an "American Celebration". Can you see the American Flags through the rain? Well, tough I was soaked and hungry and semi-stranded. A picture of a pub decorated to draw tourists in was really not high on my priorities.
